With the purpose of introducing the investments being made in the Brazil operations, TAM Cargo organized meetings with its clients from the principal domestic routes: Sao Paulo and Manaos.
These meetings were led by Pablo Navarrete, Executive Director of TAM Cargo; Rodrigo Medel, Commercial Director Domestic Cargo Brazil; and Diogo Elias, Commercial Manager Domestic Cargo Brazil, who were there to answer questions from the clients.
The executives introduced the pillars of the cargo business in Brazil: infrastructure, processes, people and technology, and what is being done to strengthen these.
The principal improvement points to strengthen the cargo offer in the Guarulhos – Manaos – Guarulhos route. Beginning August 29, TAM Cargo operates a B767F daily with a capacity of 50 tons, from Manaos to Guarulhos. In addition, beginning September 29 there will be two morning flights from Guarulhos to Manaos on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
During these meetings, we strengthen our relations with our clients, we are open to discuss their experiences with our service and we inform them of any relevant news in our business. This allows us to improve our services and provide a better offer to our clients”, assures Pablo Navarrete, Executive Director of TAM Cargo.
As part of the improvement plan, the company is investing US$20 millions (R$45 millions) in the construction of warehouses in Manaos, Goiania, Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo (specifically Guarulhos), in addition to improvements at more that 20 warehouses all over the country.
At the same time, TAM Cargo is investing more than US$5 millions (R$11 millions) in technology for its own system for the control and handling of cargo in the domestic market, one that will provide information in real time.
At the end of these meetings, TAM Cargo explained that these actions contribute to enhance the level of service of the industry, provide both an attractive business and cargo offer and, most important, maintain the satisfaction of all its clients.
