Grupo LATAM expands connectivity between Europe and South America with new routes and frequencies

June, 2024. LATAM Group’s cargo subsidiaries, committed to delivering specialized solutions to their clients, have increased options for cargo transport between Europe and South America by offering new routes and frequencies.

These additions include an increase in frequencies to strategic destinations such as Curitiba, Brazil. The route from Amsterdam, Netherlands, now operates three weekly flights, enhancing efficiency and capacity for transporting pharmaceuticals and general cargo.

In addition, LATAM Cargo has inaugurated new routes from Europe to Montevideo, Uruguay, and Florianópolis, Brazil. The latter marked a milestone as the first and only cargo route connecting these cities. These operations, which began in April, are designed to streamline the importation of a variety of goods, including pharmaceuticals, spare parts, and automotive components.

“At LATAM Cargo, we are committed to strengthening our network to offer more direct and efficient logistical solutions to our clients. These new routes and frequencies not only improve connectivity between Europe and South America but also reflect our commitment to operational excellence and customer service,” commented Gudny Genskowsky, VP of Network and Alliances at LATAM Cargo.

These expansions underscore LATAM Cargo’s strategic focus on adapting to market needs and highlight its position as a leader in cargo transportation in South America, reinforcing connections to the region.
