- The new international connection, launched on December 1, adds daily belly cargo capacity on passenger aircraft, expanding cargo availability between the United States and Argentina and complementing the group’s dedicated freighter operations at Ezeiza.
December 2025. LATAM Airlines Group inaugurated its new international Buenos Aires–Miami route on December 1, strengthening connectivity between Argentina and the United States while expanding the cargo capacity available in a key market for the region and for the cargo business.
The new route operates daily flights using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, which provide increased belly cargo capacity, complementing the dedicated freighter operation that LATAM Cargo Group maintains from Ezeiza with three weekly frequencies. This combined offering provides customers with a broader range of air cargo transportation options between the two countries.
“With this addition, we are expanding our cargo proposition in one of the most relevant markets for the region, adding an additional alternative that strengthens the offering available to Argentina and allows us to better support our customers’ needs,” said Andrés Varela, Commercial Director for North America and Asia at LATAM Cargo Group.
During its first weeks of operation from Miami, the route has primarily served e-commerce shipments, along with other products requiring reliable and frequent transit times, such as spare parts, electronics, laboratory equipment, and seeds—reflecting the diversity of cargo that can benefit from the available belly capacity.
With the launch of this route, LATAM Group’s cargo operators continue to leverage the expansion of the group’s network to generate new cargo opportunities, optimizing the use of available capacity and reinforcing their role as a the leader operator in air cargo transportation between South America and the United States.
