Modern Transport magazine, from Brazil’s OTM publishing house, has recognized TAM Cargo for a second consecutive year in the category “Biggest in Air Cargo Transport.” The award, accepted by Luis Quintiliano, TAM Cargo’s Executive Director, is the top prize in the categories of “Transport’s Biggest and Best” contest that the magazine organizes every year.
“We are proud to be recognized for a second consecutive year as the largest cargo airline in Brazil. We firmly believe that all the projects we have been developing in the country will help us consolidate our market leadership,” Luis Quintiliano said.
The “Transport’s Biggest and Best” award covers three different areas: best service, best industry operator and best transport. To choose the winners, the magazine analyzed companies’ financial statements up to December 31, 2013. More than 1,400 balance sheets were evaluated this year.
The awards ceremony took place at Sao Paulo’s Unique Hotel at the end of November. The event was attended by more than 600 guests, including representatives from private and public companies, union leaders and other area personalities.
