LATAM Cargo starts a new route between Amsterdam and Brasilia

As of April 3 a cargo airplane will connect, at every 15 days, the cities of Amsterdam, Netherlands and Brasilia, Brazil. The route will be operated by a Boing 777-200F, one of most modern in the world with capacity to carry up to 104 tons.

Brasilia is characterized by its strategic location, at the country’s central region, and for being one of Latin America’s largest hubs which capacity allows receiving and shipping cargo from/to all of the Brazilian states. Brazil has invested around R$ 10 million in the airport facilities, thus increasing ten times the volume for receiving cargo. In addition, its improvements have proved this to be one of the referential terminals for the storage and transport of medications.

For such kind of shipments, LATAM Cargo makes available for its customer the PHARMA product, which is especially designed for the transport of medications and is in keeping with the international standards.

LATAM Cargo has announced this new route in a logistics meeting held in Brazil in March, where pharmaceutical companies showed their interest in transporting cargo over this new route.
